Thanksgiving 2008

We spent this Thanksgiving with the Lynge family. Camryn had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and visiting with her aunt Mayrena and grandma and grandpa. Her first Thanksgiving feast consisted of sweet potato casserole with a crescent roll and a jar of turkey rice dinner.

Camryn is growing up so fast!

She has started playing peekaboo with us and thinks it is so funny! We have a big box from her car seat and she loves to crawl in and hide then stick her head out. Sometimes she says "Chee Choo"! I think that means peekaboo! :)

This morning she dropped her sippie cup and said "Uh Oh" and over the weekend she said "chan choo". I think that means thank you! She pretends to hand me her toy and I say thank you, then she takes it back and laughs.

She is walking around the couch now holding on and she loves to let go and hold her arms up in the air, then fall forward.

10 Months Old

Camryn turned 10 months old on November 15th. She's getting so big and learning new things every day. This past week she cut three new teeth (both top ones and the 2nd bottom one). She was not her usual self, but considering she got three at once, it really wasn't that bad.

Our Little Lamb

Happy Halloween! Camryn was a little lamb for her first Halloween. Camryn loves to play with Cali's bowl! She licks it, scratches her tooth on it, and bangs on it like a drum! What more could you ask for in a toy? Camryn is pulling up on everything now. She's even started letting go for a few seconds. Before you know it, she'll be walking!

Camryn update

Little Camryn is definitely on the move these days. About a week after she started crawling, she learned that she could pull herself up and stand. She likes to pull up on the couch and on the table at her daycare.

Camryn's first tooth has started to break through. I felt it for the first time on Monday. It wasn't terribly bad, but we could tell she was not her normal happy self for a few days before. I'll put up a picture when we can actually see it.

Next week is our first trip away from our sweet baby girl. Sean and I are going to Vegas with our friends Christy, Matthew and Jesska and Sean's brother Erik and his girlfriend Rebecca. I'm really excited to go, but really sad to leave the baby. Thankfully, grandma and grandpa Lynge will be taking good care of our sweet baby girl.

Pink Eye and Crawling

Poor baby Camryn woke up with her eyes glued shut. Pinkeye has been going around her class at daycare and she finally caught it. She looks totally pitiful. I took her to the doctor for the walk in clinic today. We had to sit around for about 2 1/2hours. It sucked but it was kind of amusing because I don't think anyone else wanted to sit near her. She had snot coming out of both eyes and her nose! After I got the goo out of her eyes this morning, I put her down on the floor. Not long after I put her down, she just started crawling away. She's been thinking about it all week. She would get up on her knees and bounce a little and then sit back up. I guess now she's got it all figured out.

On the Move!

Camryn is not crawling yet, but she has definitely got the roll and scoot down. I think it will be any day now when I won't be able to put her down and leave the room for more than a minute!

She has started babbling quite a bit more. She now says "ba ba ba" and "ma ma ma" (hehe). She thinks it's funny when we say it back.

Next week is move up time for all of the bigger kids in Camryn's daycare. She won't be the little baby anymore!

I think there will be a tooth coming through in the very near future. You can tell that her gums are getting thicker and a little whiter. I will put up a picture as soon as it pokes through :)

First visit to Grandma Donna's

Camryn made her first trip to Grandma Donna's house this past weekend. She had lots of fun on the hammock swing and sliding on the hardwood floors. Her uncle Mark stayed for the weekend and she got to see her cousin Jake and Mara.

6 Month Update

Camryn is still growing every day. Her doctor's appointment was good. She obviously has no trouble eating. The doctor said I was making high octane breastmilk :)

New things Camryn is doing:

Camryn can now sit up on her own, although she falls over occasionally.




Camryn is rolling from her back to her tummy all the time. She's started flipping on to her belly to sleep now and seems to sleep much better that way.

Bathtime is much more fun, lots of splashing and kicking.

I swear she said "dog" the other day, but I'm sure it was just a coincidence. It just happened to be when she was grabbing for Cali (she loves to pet the dog these days too)

Bouncing - everytime we get her to stand on our laps or the floor, she immediately starts to push up and try to bounce. I guess this is because of the doorway jumper or exersaucer, she thinks it's hilarious
